First: Mechanisms for dealing with outstanding students:

After the announcement of the quarterly and cumulative results, the counselor communicates with the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and the Department of Student Affairs in the College to obtain the lists of outstanding students in the village and study programs.

The mentor communicates directly with his students through advertisements and e-mails and sets up a meeting with them to congratulate them on their achievements and to inform them of the date of their honor.

A list of their names shall be submitted to the coordinator of academic guidance in the academic teams and programs.

The Director of the Guidance Unit coordinates with the Dean of the College and the Student Affairs Officer regarding their honor.

The names of outstanding students are announced in a faculty honor plate containing the names and pictures of outstanding students.

A ceremony is held in the first or second week of each semester to honor the outstanding students in all the teams and programs of the college where the Dean of the College awards them certificates of appreciation and monetary or material awards or shields of excellence.

The material prizes shall be determined in coordination between the Director of the Academic Guidance Unit, the Deanship of the College and the student activity officer.

The personal pictures of the first students are published in the teams and programs on the college and university website.

The first three students are entitled to obtain the eligibility of the external borrowing of books from the library by the number determined by the official secretary of the "libraries and confer a card of acquaintance to this effect.

The Student Activity Officer will discover the talented and creative in different aspects and submit their names to the Director of the Academic Guidance Unit.

The talented and creative are encouraged to participate in courses to develop their intellectual, creative and innovative abilities.

The Student Activity Officer coordinates with the Director of the College's Academic Counseling Unit, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and the Dean of the College to determine the value and type of awards awarded to gifted and creative students.

Gifted and talented students are honored at a class break within the college.

The names of the creators are announced in the creativity board and in the college and university.

III. Mechanism for monitoring cases requiring special care:

These cases remain strictly confidential when required.

In case of special cases requiring a psychologist, social or medical specialist, the coordinator should provide guidance to the department or the program. Incidence reports are studied by the Academic Extension Advisors in Programs and the Director of the Counseling Unit at the College and to identify the needs of the students who have defaulted.

The Academic Coordinator participates with students in responding to them and listening to their opinions about delay or stumbling and discusses with them their proposals to develop a plan to improve the level of study and study the reasons that led to the stumbling, and are presented to the Steering Committee and then the College Council to study and approve what is suitable for students.

The Director of the Academic Guidance Unit in the College coordinates with the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and the Dean of the College to identify and establish the appropriate courses to address the causes of stumbling, especially in the development of the self capacity of students who default.

Every academic advisor immediately announces the results of the examinations and continues to improve the level of achievement for these students and submit a report to the extension unit and provide the head of the department with a copy of the report.


Mechanisms of the Academic Advisor

First: A meeting with his student group at the beginning of the semester in which:

Third: Organizing the dates of group counseling and individual counseling hours:

The counselor sets up a group meeting with his students every two weeks, inspecting their school conditions, listening to their concerns, discussing their obstacles and giving them advice.

Determines the hours of individual counseling that students receive at the door of their office and is committed to being there as much as possible.

Fourth: Instructing the late student to study:

At the beginning of the semester, the instructor will determine the results of the students who are late and undecided. The mentor communicates directly with his students through advertisements and e-mail and sets up a meeting with them to identify the causes of delay and stumbling.
