With the support of Prof. Dr. /
Mohamed Khedr (Dean of the College) and Dr. / Ali Selim (Former director of the Central Lab) the Faculty held a training course for the students of (Science and Pharmacy) faculties in the Central Lab and departments' laboratories .
(A) The first group of the Faculty of Science , Department of Plant – Chemistry (25 students in the period from 23/6 till 06/07/2015)
(B) The second group of the Faculty of
Pharmacy (30 students in the period from 06/08/2015 till 26/7)
(C) The third group of the Faculty of
Science (42 students in the period from 9/8 till 8/20/2015)

The training course for the use of X-Ray
Diffraction & Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy in the fields of scientific
research and environmental monitoring , was held for 3 days (the first and
second day was for XRD - the third day was for Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy).
The course included theoretical lectures and practical exercises on each of the
two devices. It was held in the session from 21 to 23 February , 2015.
