Field Visit for Second- and Fourth-Year Students of the Architecture Department

The Architecture Department at the Faculty of Engineering – Beni Suef University – organized a field visit on Monday, October 27, 2025, for second- and fourth-year students to the Faculty of Science building and the Faculty of Medicine building on campus.

The visit was part of the coursework for:

Building Construction (Second Year), which focused on finishing works and their practical stages on site.

Contracts and Specifications (Fourth Year), which aimed to familiarize students with execution stages, quantity surveying and payment statements, contract documents, site issues, their causes and methods of resolution, as well as the project schedule and its relation to payment statements and change factors.

This visit aims to link academic study with practical application and to enhance students’ understanding of field practices in construction sites within the university.
