Beni-Suef University President, Governor and American delegation open university center for professional development at Institute of Small and Medium Enterprises

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, opened the university center for professional development at the Institute of Small and Medium Enterprises in the first compound, east of the Nile in partnership with the American University in Cairo and the US Agency for International Development, in the presence of Eng. Sherif Habib, Beni-Suef Governor, Sherry Carlin, Director of the US Agency for International Development in Egypt, and Francis Ricciardone, President of the American University in Cairo.

The university president said that the center will be supported by the American Agency for International Development and under an academic supervision of the American University in Cairo, pointing out that the center will provide a distinguished group of training programs at the international level, simulating the American University in Cairo. The center will do a membership for university students and graduates and students of other institutes in Beni-Suef province and the center will announce the conditions of that membership during the coming period.

Prof. Dr. Osama Said Abdel Sadek, Dean of the Institute of Small and Medium Enterprises, said that the American University delegation has chosen the administrative staff of the center after conducting a number of interviews for more than fifty employees. The aim of the center is to train students and improve their skills, through various training courses, as well as courses for personal skills, human resource development and languages, to prepare students for the labour market and its needs, and to find suitable jobs after graduation.
