Honoring an innovative student at Beni-Suef University at the 6th National Youth Conference, Cairo University

 President / Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, President of Republic honored student / Amr Al-Sherif, Faculty of Physical Education, fourth year, for getting the bronze medal for the invention of 'Bat Swimmer' in the competition of Geneva International Innovation Fair, he also registered 7 patents and participated in more than 35 scientific conferences.

For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, said that the university spares no effort in supporting the scientific publishing of researches and registration of patents, supporting the utilization of local and foreign experiences, exploring new ideas and sponsoring their owners and providing them suitable environment. He praised the important role played by the university's technology transfer and marketing office in activating the role of scientific research and supporting innovation and technology.

The student, Amr Al-Sharif, said that the invention of  "Bat Swimmer" simulates the method of vision of the bat using ultrasonic waves to determine the distances and read the surrounding location, and converting them to sound signals in the ear of the swimmer, and it connects the blind swimmer with the trainer by the digital radio transmitter.
