President of University praises College organization of the 35th Psychology Conference

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, praised the efforts of the Faculty of Science of Special Needs and its active role in serving society and environmental development during the receipt of the shield of the Egyptian Society for Psychological Studies by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hammad Hindi, Dean of the Faculty of Science of Special Needs as a representative of the association. This is as an appreciation to the Rector for his full support for the 35th Conference of Psychology, held from 2-3 March at the University Conference Hall.

The University President pointed out that the conference included three main axes: Educational Psychology in terms of patterns, methods and strategies of learning and thinking, multiple intelligences and their development, developmental, academic, social and emotional learning difficulties, methods and strategies for contemporary measurement and evaluation. The second axis discussed psychological health, positive psychology and quality of life, psychology in the face of issues of violence and extremism, psychology and issues of citizenship and belonging, modifying behavior for children with behavior problem, and ethics of the profession of psychologist.

The third axis discussed the education and rehabilitation of people with special needs, the importance of caring for and qualifying individuals with disabilities in all categories, identifying the innovations of learning for people with special needs, identifying the preparations and abilities of children with special needs.
