Beni Suef University launches a comprehensive medical developmental convoy at Nawamis village in Wasta

This morning, Beni Suef University, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, launched a comprehensive developmental medical convoy at the village of Al-Nawamis, affiliated to Al Wasta Center, under the supervision of the community service and environmental development sector with the participation of faculties of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Mass Communication, Social Work and Law in cooperation with the Directorate of Health and the Foundation of Beni Suef Renaissance.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, Chancellor / Hani Abdel Gaber, Governor of Beni Suef, Prof. Dr. Bader Nabih, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Abdel Nasser Hamida, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Mr. Walid Hussein, Executive Director of the Foundation toured the medical and veterinary clinics to follow the workflow in the convoy.

 Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the aim of the convoy is to conduct a comprehensive survey of all diseases in all specialties for the village residents and provide treatment for them, and transfer cases that need more attention to the university hospital, pointing out that the coming period will witness intensifying medical convoys to tour all centers of the province, in order to instill a culture of community service, and recognize the university role in the performance of its mission of service and development, and the community benefit from specialized scientific competencies in all medical fields.

While the veterinary convoy examined many animals for free, in addition to directing awareness and guidance and veterinary advice on diseases, both in animals and birds for breeders to reduce the spread of infectious and seasonal diseases.
