The President of Beni Suef University inspects the victims of the fire at the military hospital and the Ashmant ferry, and directs that they receive the utmost care.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, today conducted an intensive inspection tour to check on the condition of the injured who were transferred to university hospitals, following two separate incidents: the fire at the military hospital and the Ashmant village ferry accident.
The tour included a close monitoring of the cases received by the university hospitals, and an inspection of the efforts of the medical teams to provide the necessary comprehensive care. The university president followed up on the cases of those injured in the fire at the military hospital, as 17 cases arrived at the university hospital, and directed that all the capabilities of the university hospital be harnessed to support these patients and provide them with integrated medical care.
The university president stressed the need to make every effort to alleviate the suffering and provide the best possible health and psychological care to those injured in the two accidents, emphasizing that all capabilities will be harnessed to support them.
Regarding the incident at the military hospital, Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, explained that there are 9 cases that were admitted to intensive care, one case that was transferred to Al-Zahraa Hospital (in Cairo), 3 cases that were transferred to the Specialized Hospital in Beni Suef, and 4 cases that are stable and receiving the necessary treatment.
In a separate context, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of University Hospitals, indicated that the casualties of the Ashmant village ferry accident included 4 deaths, 2 stable cases, and 1 case under observation for treatment.
