International achievement for Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef : "A Journey with a Stay of Execution" wins the "Best Director" award at the Egyptian-American Film and Arts Festival

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, students from the Faculty of Mass Communication achieved an international accomplishment with their film "A Journey with a Stay of Execution" winning the Best Director award in the official competition of the 5th Egyptian-American Film and Arts Festival. This achievement was made possible under the supervision of Dr. Mamdouh Makawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, and Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the Egyptian-American Film and Arts Festival witnessed the participation of 2,974 films from 154 countries around the world, where the film “Journey with a Stay of Execution” was shown as part of the graduation projects of the students of the Faculty of  Mass Communication, in addition to the film “Molas” which also qualified for the final stage.
The university president expressed his pride in this achievement, which reflects the high quality of the media and film productions of the college's students. He emphasized that winning at an international festival of this magnitude is a global testament to the excellence of Beni Suef University students and their ability to compete and innovate in the fields of media and the arts. He noted that this accomplishment is not only evidence of the students' artistic and creative skills but also reflects the university's ongoing support for enhancing their capabilities and education, thus preparing them to meet the challenges of the global job market. He affirmed that the university will continue its efforts to provide a distinguished educational environment that encourages innovation and strengthens students' opportunities to achieve even greater success in the future.
For his part, Dr. Mamdouh Makawi congratulated the team on the award, stressing that this success is the fruit of continuous efforts in supporting students’ creative and productive skills, noting that the college constantly seeks to provide an integrated educational environment that motivates students to be creative and compete internationally.
