Faculty of Social Service at Beni Suef organizes an awareness seminar to promote students' awareness of rationalizing water and electricity consumption.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Social Development in cooperation with the Beni Suef Water Company and the Electricity Company organized an awareness seminar on “Rationalizing Water and Electricity Consumption in Beni Suef Society” under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Ibrahim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Allah Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Development, and prepared and implemented by Dr. Muhammad Saad Al-Sherbini, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. This took place in the presence of department directors at the Beni Suef Water Company and the Electricity Company, and a number of faculty members, administrators, and students of the college.
The university president explained that the seminar aims to raise awareness of the importance of the rational use of natural resources, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030. The event focuses on encouraging daily practices that reduce waste and preserve resources, which greatly contributes to the benefit of the university and local community.
The university president emphasized the importance of these initiatives in raising environmental awareness among students, noting that conserving water and electricity is a collective responsibility that contributes to building a sustainable future. He added that the university is striving to collaborate with governmental and service agencies to implement these initiatives, reflecting its commitment to supporting the local community and promoting sustainable development. In doing so, the university hopes to achieve a positive impact that extends to all members of society and fosters a culture of responsible use of natural resources.
