The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University organizes an educational seminar on pneumonia in children.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Pediatric Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing organized an educational seminar entitled "Pneumonia in Children," on the occasion of World Pneumonia Day. The seminar was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Dr. Sherine Sherif, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Dr. Sahar Sedky Fahim, Head of the Pediatric Nursing Department. Dr. Tahia Taha presented the seminar, with the participation of several students.
Dr. Tarek Ali, the university president, emphasized the importance of the educational and community outreach role played by the university and its specialized colleges. He stressed that organizing such vital seminars reflects the university's responsibility towards the health of community members, especially children. The president noted that effective cooperation between academic departments and students significantly contributes to spreading the necessary health awareness for preventing seasonal and serious illnesses. The seminar included an important lecture that addressed pneumonia in detail, explaining its causes, reviewing the latest available treatment methods, and focusing on effective and successful preventative measures to protect children.
For her part, Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawi expressed her delight at the success of the seminar and the high turnout, emphasizing that the college places special importance on child and community health issues as an integral part of its mission. She noted that the Pediatric Nursing Department is always keen to integrate practical and educational aspects with academic study, enabling students to provide accurate and reliable information that contributes to raising health awareness among parents and protecting children from the risks of pneumonia.
