A faculty member at Beni Suef University participates in the committee for accepting and evaluating students applying for integration into the Al-Azhar Institutes sector.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the participation of Dr. Mohamed Rashdan, a lecturer in hearing impairment at the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, in the committee for accepting and evaluating students applying for inclusion in the Al-Azhar Institutes sector. This came under the supervision of Dr. Heba Allah Abu El-Nil, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Haitham Nagi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service Affairs, with the participation of Dr. Mohamed El-Barqi, the inclusion officer, and Dr. Mohamed Hamouda, Professor of Psychiatry at Al-Azhar University.
Dr. Tariq stressed that this participation comes within the framework of activating the pioneering community role of Beni Suef University in supporting, caring for and integrating people with special needs, noting that the university is constantly working to enhance partnerships that contribute to improving the quality of services provided to this group, expressing his pride in the university’s leaders and faculty members, and the advanced level that the university has reached in the file of integration and awareness of the rights of students with disabilities.
He also stressed that this step reflects the firm commitment of Beni Suef University and the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences to applying the highest standards of inclusion, and ensuring the provision of a fair and comprehensive assessment for students with disabilities that guarantees their fundamental right to obtain an appropriate education that meets their special needs.
