Beni Suef Faculty of Medicine organizes a scientific seminar on "Blood Diseases and Hemophilia in Children" to raise the level of healthcare.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine organized a scientific seminar entitled "Blood Diseases and Hemophilia in Children," under the supervision of Dr. Hani Hamed Ali Desouki, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Director General of University Hospitals and Head of the Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Mohamed Maabad, Professor of Pediatrics and former Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Dalia Saber, Professor of Pediatrics, and Dr. Mohamed Nagi, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and former Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. A select group of professors and doctors from the departments of surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology also participated in the seminar, within the framework of supporting integration between different specialties to provide the best care for children with hemophilia, especially in cases that require surgical intervention or close monitoring during operations.

Dr. Tariq Ali explained that this symposium is part of the efforts of the Department of Pediatrics and the Faculty of Medicine to promote health awareness within the community and enhance the services provided in university hospitals. He emphasized that organizing such scientific events contributes to disseminating knowledge and exchanging expertise among physicians and researchers, thus strengthening medical competence and making it more capable of addressing health challenges. He also pointed out the importance of these symposia in clarifying the concepts of blood disorders and hemophilia in children, as health awareness plays a pivotal role in improving healthcare and raising the level of services provided to patients. Through this type of activity, continuous efforts are made to meet the health needs of the community, contributing to improving the quality of life for children and their families, and reflecting the university's commitment to providing the highest levels of healthcare.

During the symposium, Dr. Hani Hamed emphasized the college's commitment to raising awareness about blood disorders and hemophilia in children, stressing the importance of collaboration between different departments to ensure the best possible medical care for those affected. He explained that this collaboration contributes to providing precise and comprehensive treatment for children, especially in cases requiring specialized follow-up or surgical intervention. Dr. Hamed also expressed his gratitude to all the participating physicians and professors, commending their active role in exchanging knowledge and expertise, which contributes to raising the level of medical competence and achieving the desired health goals. He added that these efforts are part of the college's strategy to achieve integrated medical services and improve the level of healthcare provided to patients.
