Mission:
The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology's mission is to provide high-quality
education and training that equips pharmacy students with a thorough understanding of
pharmacology and toxicology (drug mechanisms, interactions, side effects, and toxicity),
promoting the rational and safe use of medications in accordance with international
standards. The department is dedicated to advancing scientific research, continuous
quality improvement, and community service in accordance with national and
international academic standards in order to address the demands of the healthcare
system and society.
Objectives:
• Develop curricula aligned with labor market needs and perform cutting-edge
research in fields such as liver diseases and neurological disorders.
• Strengthen Faculty competencies through targeted training and encourage active
engagement in quality assurance initiatives.
• Equip students with the specialized knowledge necessary for positions in
community pharmacy, hospitals, industry, and healthcare.
