  • Responsibilities of the Scholarships and Study Leaves Department

    1. Preparing the university’s scholarship plan, identifying needs, and managing the nomination, extension, and completion processes while maintaining relevant records.
    2. Handling the nomination, dispatch, extension, and completion procedures for academic and professional study leaves and maintaining related records.
    3. Organizing and facilitating the utilization of scholarships offered by governments, universities, and institutes in various countries.
    4. Managing travel arrangements for faculty members on scholarships and study leaves.
    5. Maintaining a comprehensive database of scholarship recipients and study leave participants, ensuring continuous monitoring of their academic institutions, fields of specialization, research topics, and study locations abroad.
    6. Preparing periodic reports on the status of scholarship and study leave recipients, as well as grant beneficiaries.
    7. Implementing decisions of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Council within its areas of responsibility.
