About the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector
Beni Suef University seeks to actively contribute to solving local community issues.
To achieve this, the Community Service and Environmental Development Administration organizes various activities and initiatives aimed at providing services that promote societal development. These efforts not only help in advancing the community but also engage students in meaningful interactions with their surroundings, fostering a spirit of cooperation and national service.
Duties of the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development:
- Supervising the preparation of plans and programs to fulfill the college's role in community service and environmental development.
- Overseeing the affairs of the college's special units that provide services to non-students.
- Supervising the college facilities that offer services to the public.
- Developing professional and technical training programs for the community.
- Organizing conferences, scientific seminars, and public lectures aimed at community service and environmental development.
- Preparing reports and recommendations from the college’s scientific conferences regarding community service and environmental development and submitting them to the University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
- Implementing the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities, the University Council, and the Community Service and Environmental Development Council regarding community service and environmental development affairs.
