                                                                 Jihan Zakarriya 
 she is a lecturer of comparative literature- Department of English, Faculty of Arts, Beni Suef University.  Jihan has earned her BA in English Language and Literature from Cairo University, Beni Suef Branch. Then she got her MA in Comparative Literature from Beni-Suef University. The title of the MA is: Working-Class Heroines in the Novels of Thomas Hardy and Yusuf Idris
Jihan got a scholarship to study for a PhD degree in England. She completed her PhD in Comparative Literature at Cardiff University, UK in 2014. Her PhD thesis is titled: ‘Deconstruction of Different Forms of Apartheid in the Works of Edward Said, J M Coetzee and Jabra Ibrahim Jabra
Her research interests are: contemporary English novel, contemporary Arabic novel in English, postcolonialism and feminism
