Assist the university in carrying out its mission both in teaching and training
students in the field of laser technology research and science
Conducting scientific research aimed at solving the real problems faced by the productive and industrial activity or the role of the different services or work sites in the society
Assist the industrial and production activity with scientific methods that lead to the development and creation of new methods that result in the abundance of production and multiplicity and improvement
Contribute to the training of community members on the use of modern scientific and technical methods of laser science and education and raise their industrial efficiency and productivity in various fields
Closer cultural and scientific links with other universities and scientific and industrial bodies at the Arab, African and international levels
Contribute to the implementation of university projects and colleges and institutes and provide them with their needs and carry out maintenance and repairs that fall within the specialty of laser science and technology
Contribute to the implementation of Egypt Vision 2030 with the participation of civil society, the private sector, foreign and local experts, intellectuals and specialists in all fields
Provide a distinctive scientific service for specialists and users of laser devices through holding safety and occupational safety courses and the conduct of periodic exercises aimed at identifying the different types and systems of lasers and ways of safety against risks
Provide service to specialists and users of laser devices wishing to obtain licenses of various laser devices and the validity of imported devices from abroad, as well as the power of the facilities to use laser devices in accordance with international standards
Providing maintenance services for various laser devices for hospitals, medical centers and clinics as well as factories and technical workshops through a distinguished team of engineers and technicians specialized in various fields of laser technology
