Congratulations on the issuance of the decision by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education to appoint the Board of Trustees of the National University. The first meeting was held in the presence of His Excellency the President of Beni Suef University, Professor Dr. Mansour Hassan. The board was formed with the appointment of Dr. Hussein Khaled, former Minister of Higher Education, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Beni Suef National University.
Dr. El Morsy Ahmed, former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and former Vice President of the University, was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Trustees of Beni Suef National University, including Engineer Sherif Mohamed, former Governor of Beni Suef; Dr. Ali Gomaa, former Grand Mufti of the Republic and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Misr El Kheir Foundation; Major General Dr. Mohamed Reda, Professor at Al-Azhar University and the Military Medical Academy and Advisor to the Minister of Health for Rheumatology and Rehabilitation; Dr. Rabeh Rateb, Full-Time Professor at the Faculty of Law and former Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Magdy Fathy, Full-Time Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Beni Suef University and former Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Hanan Abdel Hamid, Professor at the Faculty of Science, former Dean of the Faculty and member of the Senate; and Dr. Shaaban Youssef, former Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics at Beni Suef University and Advisor to the University President.
The event was also attended by Dr. Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, Dr. Maher Mesbah, Secretary of the Council of National Universities, and members of the Council. The event was held at the Ministry's headquarters in the Administrative Capital. His Excellency Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, highlighted the significant contribution that Beni Suef National University represents within the Egyptian higher education system. It serves a large segment of Upper Egypt's population and represents a significant shift in the level of educational services provided in the Upper Egypt region. It provides its students with an advanced educational environment based on the latest academic and technological methods, helping them enroll in modern academic specializations in the fields of science and technology, which will certainly reflect positively on the development of this region.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University and Acting President of Beni Suef National University, stated:
* The steps taken to establish the university, the sectors it includes, and the university's vision and strategy for developing the educational process in accordance with the latest international quality standards. He pointed out the university's commitment to internationalizing education and establishing partnerships with prestigious international universities, in addition to offering dual degrees in cooperation with international academic and research institutions. He also emphasized that the university is working to enhance integration with the industrial sector and provide practical training opportunities for students, which contributes to qualifying them for the requirements of the local and international labor market.
