Within the framework of the continuous interest in enhancing the scientific and practical experiences of students of the Faculty of Technology and Education - Beni Suef University, and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan - President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the care of Prof. Dr. Mervat Refaat - Dean of the Faculty, Asst. Prof. Dr. Essam Hamad - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Sayed Mohamed - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Head of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology Department, the Faculty of Technology and Education organized today - Tuesday 04-29-2025 - a scientific trip to the "Al-Husseiny Foods" factory for food industries in the light industries zone in Beni Suef, for second-year students in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology Department, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Sayed - Head of the Department, Dr. Hamada Abdel Rahman, Dr. Emmanuel Bishara - faculty members of the department, Eng. Akram Sabra, the department's practical trainer and manager of the Engineering Company for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in Beni Suef, to gave the students practical experience with the modern refrigeration systems used by the factory to cool and freeze food products.
It's worth noting that the factory's cold rooms and freezing tunnel were inspected to learn about their basic components. The students were given a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the cold room design, the thermal load calculations required for each room, the required compressor capacity, and the connection and modification of control panels, ensuring complete and safe control via a mobile application. The visit was conducted by Eng. Akram Sabra, the designer and implementer of these rooms.
At the end of the trip, the delegation supervising the trip and the students extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Mohamed Hussein, Director of Al-Husseini Foods Factory for Food Industries, for the warm welcome and comprehensive explanation provided to the students, emphasizing their great benefit from this unique trip. The factory management team also expressed their happiness with the students' interaction with such trips, which represent a wonderful model of cooperation between academic and industrial institutions, and emphasizes the importance of continuous communication with the industrial sector to provide students with the knowledge and skills that qualify them for the job market.
