College Council for June 2025

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts chairs the Faculty Council for the month of June 2025.
Today, Professor Dr. Mahrous Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, chaired the Faculty Council for the month of June 2025, in the presence of the Faculty’s Vice Deans, Department Council Chairmen, and Council members.
The Dean of the College began the meeting by offering his condolences to His Excellency Professor Dr. Tarif Shawky, former Vice President of the University, on the death of his wife.
He also extended his sincere thanks to the faculty members and college - affiliated for their regular attendance at exams.
Professor Dr. Mahrous praised the outstanding performance of the students of the Department of Antiquities in completing technical projects that contribute to introducing our country's antiquities, which helps in stimulating tourism, and the appearance of these projects on the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and various news websites.
The Council discussed topics related to faculty members affairs, education and student affairs, graduate studies and research affairs, and community service and environmental development affairs.
At the end of the session, the Dean of the College recommended the necessity of adhering to the scheduled dates for correcting answer sheets in order to announce the results on the scheduled dates, in order to ensure the smooth running of work and the educational process at the College.
