World Chronic Pneumonia Day for Children

The World Chronic Pneumonia Day event was launched at the Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, University President, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Hanan El-Zabalawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; and Prof. Dr. Sherine El-Sayed Sherif, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department, headed by Dr. Islam Mokhtar, Head of the Department, and coordinator of the event, Dr. Marwa Khaled, organized the celebration of World Chronic Pneumonia Day on Thursday, November 27, 2025 In the presence of a large number of faculty members and students, the event began with the national anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran. A welcoming address was delivered by college leaders. The celebration included discussions on several topics, such as: - An introduction to World Chronic Pneumonia Day

- The importance of regular checkups
- Various methods of preventing pneumonia
