Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Nesr, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the Vice Deans of the Faculty, as well as Prof. Dr. Fatma Hassan, Head of the Department of Food Safety and Technology, and within the framework of the Faculty’s commitment to linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, the Department of Food Safety and Technology organized a field visit for fifth-year students to the Nasser City Slaughterhouse in Beni Suef as part of the Department’s practical training program.
During the visit, students were introduced to the nature of work at the slaughterhouse and gained hands-on experience that enhances their skills and strengthens their readiness for the labor market.
Such visits come within the Faculty’s ongoing plan to advance the level of training and provide an integrated educational experience.
The visit was supervised by Prof. Dr. Fatma Hassan, Head of the Department of Food Safety and Technology, along with Dr. Marwa Makhlouf, Dr. Mohamed Abdullah, and Dr. Jihad Maged.
We extend our sincere wishes to our students for continued benefit and success in the upcoming visits.
