As Part of the Ongoing Follow-up Series… A Sudden Night Inspection Tour by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Beni Suef University at the University Hospital
As part of the continuous follow-up efforts, Professor Dr. Hany Hamed Desouky, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Hospitals at Beni Suef University, conducted a sudden night inspection tour on 13/1/2025 at the University Hospital. This comes within the framework of the University Administration’s commitment, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, to ongoing field supervision and ensuring the quality of medical services provided to patients.
The tour was conducted under the supervision of Professor Dr. Emad El-Banna, General Director of the University Hospitals, and was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Sayed, Head of the Medical Emergency Department; Dr. Ahmed Salem, Deputy Head of the Medical Emergency Department; Ms. Hanaa Shaaban, Director of Nursing and Administrative Deputy; Mr. Ahmed Taha, Emergency Administration Officer; Mr. Ahmed Adel, Emergency Nursing Supervisor; and Captain Mahmoud Sayed, Administrative Security Supervisor.
During the tour, the Dean inspected the Reception Department, Pediatric Emergency Unit, Surgical Emergency Unit, and Orthopedic Emergency Unit, where he ensured the readiness of medical equipment, the availability of supplies, the commitment of medical and nursing staff, and the proper functioning and discipline of work during the night shift.
His Excellency also listened to the opinions of patients and their families to assess the level of services provided and identify any observations. He emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring and prompt response to emergency cases, and praised the efforts of the medical, nursing, administrative, and security teams in delivering healthcare services around the clock.
