A faculty member in the College of Arts develops the first accredited electronic program for measuring and guiding the personality of adolescents.

Professor Dr. Azza Gohary, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, congratulates Dr. Ahmed Saleh, Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the Faculty of Arts, on receiving a certificate of deposit and registration for a computer-based work from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. This certificate pertains to his innovative electronic program entitled: “A Battery for Psychological Assessment and Guidance of Thoughts, Emotions, and Behaviors in Adolescents,” developed under the supervision of Dr. Azza Gohary, Dean of the Faculty of Arts. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, explained that this innovation represents a qualitative leap in the field of electronic psychological assessment. He noted that the program measures 25 aspects of personality for the 12-23 age group (from preparatory school to university). He emphasized the university's strong commitment to scientific research that provides practical and technological solutions serving the community, adding that this work is a valuable addition to the Arabic psychological library and reflects the pioneering role of the university's faculty in integrating science with modern technology. For her part, Dr. Azza Gohary, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, expressed her pride in this achievement by one of the faculty's alumni, emphasizing that the program is distinguished by its provision of specialized guidance in both written and audio formats to address children's weaknesses. She also noted that the faculty supports all research aimed at promoting the mental health of young generations and supporting the psychological and social well-being of Egyptian families. It is worth mentioning that the program offers a printed psychological report for both families and children. This report was produced through a series of specialized psychological studies and has been officially approved as a psychological assessment tool by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It is scheduled to be made available to the public soon through a specialized publishing house.
