Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, and in line with the Egyptian state's directives and the political leadership's vision to enhance integration between education and the labor market, and on the sidelines of the Third Annual Exhibition of Innovative and Creative Projects at the Faculty of Technology and Education, an extensive roundtable discussion was held in the office of Professor Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty. The discussion brought together a select group of industry and investment leaders from Beni Suef Governorate to explore mechanisms for joint cooperation and to provide training and employment opportunities for the Faculty's graduates in industrial zones.

Professor Dr. Mervat Refaat emphasized that the Faculty of Technology and Education is a leading institution in preparing qualified technological personnel, thanks to its advanced academic and applied programs that keep pace with the demands of the industrial revolution and digital transformation. She noted that the Faculty is committed to graduating graduates with the technical and practical skills necessary to compete in the local and regional labor market and to contribute effectively to supporting sustainable development plans.

She added that the college operates according to a clear vision to strengthen partnerships with production and industrial institutions, ensuring integration between the academic and applied aspects. This provides students with genuine opportunities for field training and practical experience, ultimately leading to direct employment opportunities for graduates upon completion of their studies.

The roundtable witnessed fruitful discussions between the college administration and representatives of the industrial and investment sectors. These discussions addressed the labor market's needs for various specializations, mechanisms for utilizing the skills produced by the college annually, and ways to collaborate in training and development, as well as participating in the development of academic programs to align with the requirements of modern industry.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached to establish a framework for organizing regular job fairs within the college, with the participation of companies and factories operating in industrial zones. The aim is to provide sustainable training and employment opportunities for students and graduates, and to enhance direct communication between employers and qualified young professionals.

The meeting was attended by Engineer Atef Mahdi, Head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Projects Authority in Beni Suef Governorate; Professor Dr. Amira Hegazi, Director of the Central Unit for Graduate Follow-up at Beni Suef University; and Mr. Mustafa Magdy, Public Relations Manager at Emsa Ready-Made Garments Factory. Attendees emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the university and the industrial and investment sectors, and supporting initiatives that contribute to qualifying graduates and enhancing their readiness for the labor market. This aligns with development goals and maximizes the utilization of qualified young talent.
