A new achievement added to its record of excellence... The Faculty of Technology and Education wins bronze in the competition for the best leading faculty in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Abulhassan Abdelmawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education.

The Faculty of Technology and Education is pleased to extend its sincere congratulations to the Community Service and Environmental Development sector, led by Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, on winning the bronze award in the Natural Sciences and Engineering sector of the "Best Leading Faculty in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals" competition at the university level, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

This achievement is the culmination of continuous efforts and outstanding teamwork. The competition was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abulhassan Abdelmawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development. Its aim was to promote a culture of sustainable development and encourage colleges to present initiatives and projects that serve the community and contribute to achieving the state's vision for sustainable development.

This victory reflects the significant efforts exerted by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Technology and Education. The innovative projects, ideas, high-quality initiatives, community activities, workshops, and field visits presented by the sector have all contributed to highlighting the college's role in serving the community and promoting sustainable development, thus solidifying its position among the university's colleges.

On this occasion, Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the College, extends her sincere thanks and appreciation to the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector of the College for its sincere efforts in achieving this success. She also thanks all the faculty members and assistant staff who participated with their innovative ideas, projects, workshops and field visits that had a great impact on achieving this accomplishment, as well as the members of the administrative staff of the College who had a prominent role and a clear imprint in the preparation, organization and support of all the competition activities.
