Beni Suef University team wins Dr. Mansour Hassan Cup after defeating its counterpart

Today, Sunday, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university team won the governmental football championship “Dr. Mansour Hassan Trophy” and ascended to the Republic Championship, after defeating the counterpart of the Directorate of Education through the penalty shootout with a clean goal.

 The final match and the coronation ceremonies were attended by Captain / Wagih Ahmed, Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, Prof. Dr. Hanan Soliman, Senator, Captain / Mohamed Farouk, Director General of Youth Care, Captain / Tony Othman, the former international referee, and an elite of international referees including Captain / Mohamed Marouf, Captain Samir Othman and Captain / Fahim Omar, Captain / Ayman Badra, Captain / Ayman Degish, a group of sports media professionals from inside and outside the governorate, and a group of popular and executive leaders in the governorate.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the university’s keenness to organize various sports activities to make a spirit of competition among employees in various governmental entities, with the aim of enhancing  sports among employees, which positively reflects on improving their physical ability and contributes to improving mental activity and raising the level of concentration.

It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan honored the first three teams in the competition and handed over the championship cup to the university team .
