Beni Suef University Council agrees to organize symposium on information technology in tourism and hotel sector

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, approved, in its session No. 207, the proposal submitted by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels to organize a scientific symposium during the semester on information technology in tourism and hotel sector, it will be lectured by Dr. Hossam Darwish, expert on tourism and e-commerce and President of the African-Asian Union. This was in the presence of university's vice presidents, deans of faculties, and members of the council.
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that information technology is one of the modern concepts that has been able over the past few years to push the tourism industry steadily to the threshold of the third millennium, by employing various advanced tools and means in the field of communications and information technology to advance the march of the tourism sector.
The Council also agreed to organize a training workshop with the College of Medicine, Critical Cases Department, and the College of Nursing at the university on first aid for college students during the second semester. 
The University President indicated during the session that these events come within the framework of the development and implementation of training programs that the College of Tourism and Hotels is witnessing, including lectures and workshops aimed at developing students’ skills and providing them with life experiences, and providing them with instructions and advice that must be carried out as soon as anyone is exposed to various injuries, and how to deal with emergency cases until the arrival of aid, whether from ambulances or transporting the injured to a hospital.
