Faculties of Navigation Science, Mass Communication and Pharmacy get first place in the competition of the best language division and new program at Beni Suef University

Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the result of the competition of the best language division and a new program at the level of bachelor's and postgraduate programs. This was while presiding over the meeting of Higher Committee for Divisions of New Languages and Programs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President for Education and Student Sector, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Hegab, General Coordinator of Divisions and Programs, Prof. Dr. Shaaban Mubarez, Financial Adviser, Mr. Muhammad Salim, Secretary General of University, and members of the committee.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the College of Navigation Science and Space Technology (Applied Science Program for Space and Navigation), the College of Mass Communication (English Language Division), and the College of Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy Program) won the first place in the competition, while the College of Nursing and the College of Education won the second place, while the College of Technology and Education and the College of Arts won second place, while the College of Technology and Education and the College of Arts “Clinical Psychology Program” and the College of Science “Microbiology - Biochemistry Programs” won the third place, the Survey and Geographic Information Systems Program at the College of Arts ranked fourth, the English Language Department of the College of Early Childhood ranked fifth, and the French Language Division at the College Law ranked sixth, College of Applied Health Science Technology ranked seventh, Medical Informatics program at College of Computers ranked eighth, the English Language Division of the College of Law ranked ninth, and College of Medicine “Special Program in Medicine and Surgery” ranked tenth with regard to  bachelor’s degree programs.

With regard to graduate programs, the College of Pharmacy ''Pharm D'' program, the College of Commerce '' Professional Diploma Program'' ranked first, the College of Special Needs Science and the Institute of Laser Research and Applications won the second place, while the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science and the Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants won the third place.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Hegab indicated that the competition is being held for the fourth year in a row after its success over the past years, and aims to encourage and honor distinguished students to exert more effort to reach the highest level of the educational service, pointing out the diversity of evaluation criteria in the competition to include the provision of educational and administrative services and the mechanisms of interaction with students, plans for upgrading academic and administrative aspects, applying quality standards and internal governance systems, and ending annual reports, pointing out the use of the announced standards model for the Languages ??and Programs divisions in evaluating the competition to ensure the highest degree of transparency and justice in the competition.
