The Faculty of Sports Sciences at Beni Suef University announces the winners of the Holy Quran memorization competition.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Sports Sciences announced the names of the winners in the Holy Quran memorization competition, under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Ragai Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Samia Farid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mahmoud Hussein Mahmoud, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs. This took place in the presence of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty, its Vice Deans, Heads of Departments, and a group of scholars from the Al-Azhar Sheikhdom Administration to evaluate the students.
The university president explained that the Holy Quran competition organized by the Faculty of Sports Sciences for the 2025-2026 academic year demonstrated remarkable excellence among the participants. Shrouq Sayed Ali Badawi, a first-year student, won first place in Level 1 (memorizing the entire Holy Quran), while Ahmed Ali Mahmoud Hassan, a fourth-year student, came in second. In Level 2 (memorizing half of the Holy Quran), Kariman Hussein Fathi Abdelrahman, a first-year student, took first place, followed by Farha Ali Ramadan Mohamed, a third-year student, in second place. In Level 3 (memorizing a quarter of the Holy Quran), Hind Mohamed Ragab, a first-year student, won first place, while Saif Ahmed Mohamed, a second-year student, came in second. These results reflect a high level of memorization and proficiency among the students, supporting the university's strategy of developing well-rounded students, encompassing both academic and spiritual aspects.
Dr. Tariq Ali noted that this competition is central to the university's strategy of building well-rounded students, encompassing not only academic and athletic excellence but also spiritual and moral development. He emphasized that the participation of scholars from Al-Azhar University added significant value and credibility to the competition's evaluation, adding that the results reflected an exceptional level of memorization and mastery among the participating students. He concluded by affirming the university's commitment to supporting such activities that encourage university students to uphold noble values ??and revere the Holy Quran.
