Problematic openness characterization grammar when Abu Hayyan Andalusian

This research is an attempt to reread the grammar of Abu Hayan Al Andalosy as referred to in his explanation of his book " Al Bahr Al Muheet " and his other writings . This will be achieved through showing the connection between its components . It becomes clear that his viewpoint towards the grammar is based on the separation of " traditional grammar " and "contextual grammar". This division or separation makes the grammatical structure to be closed in the first type , while in the other type it is open to other elements of rhetoric and Pragmatics . This makes his description or explanation of grammar to be open. In spite of the fact that this separation is unacceptable from some researchers , it is an indication that Abu Hayan's description or methodology is correct in dealing with the quranic text in the first hand , and dealing with quotations and examples in the second Therfore , this research is based on clarifying the features of this theoretical viewpoint as adopted by Abu Hayan . It attempts to gather it in an orderd structure , to show the grammarian's vision and to indicate the strength of its internal components . Simultaneously , it provides achance to read the grammatical thought of heritage in order to make it suitable to modern life . This will be done without affecting either the nature or the features of this heritage . Insteed , this reading of heritage will make its elements to be rich and help in our comprehension of the text.
