First aid initiative
Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing launched the “First Aid Equals Saving a Life” initiative, in cooperation with the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, under the slogan “And whoever saves a life, it is as if he had saved all people,” and under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Naji Muhaisen, Dr. Muhammad Sayed Qayed, deans of the two colleges, Dr. Hanan Al-Zabalawy Hassan,vice dean of the College of Nursing for community service and environmental development affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Bahaa, vice dean of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for community service affairs.
The initiative included training students and staff at the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence on the principles of first aid and life-saving for a number of topics, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stinging, bleeding, fractures, burns, fainting,
diabetic coma, and high or low temperatures.
