Faculty of Pharmacy in Beni Suef organizes a course on "Rationalizing the Use of Nuclear Energy" for health insurance pharmacists.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of activating the college's role in continuing pharmaceutical education The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a training seminar titled "Antimicrobial Stewardship" for pharmacists from the Beni Suef branch of the Health Insurance Authority
This seminar was part of a comprehensive training plan agreed upon between the Faculty and the Health Insurance Authority, which includes twelve specialized training courses. The seminar was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Shahira Fawzy El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Eglal Abdel-Hamid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was presented by Dr. Ahmed Farag Azmy from the Microbiology Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy
Dr. Tariq Ali explained that these courses are central to the university's leading and community role in raising the efficiency of healthcare workers in the governorate, emphasizing that the cooperation with the Health Insurance Authority aims to improve the pharmaceutical services provided to citizens. He pointed out that focusing on the topic of "rational use of antimicrobials" is a vital step in confronting the threat of antibiotic resistance
This is considered one of the greatest global health challenges, emphasizing the importance of continuing education in equipping pharmacists with the latest scientific knowledge to ensure patient safety and treatment effectiveness.
Dr. Shahira Fawzy expressed her gratitude to the university leadership for their ongoing support of the college's efforts in serving the community, affirming the college's commitment to providing high-quality training programs that meet the actual needs of the healthcare sector
She added that the training course plan aims to activate the pharmacist’s role as an essential part of the medical team, especially in the field of drug health and its optimal use, noting that the lecture presented by Dr. Ahmed Farag Azmy received great interaction from the targeted pharmacists, reflecting the utmost importance of this topic in daily pharmacy practice
