President of Beni-Suef University : Cooperation agreement with the National Institute for Standardization (NIS)

Prof.Dr. / Amin Lotfy, President of Beni-Suef University and Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Ahmed Amer, Head of the National Institute for Standardization signed a cooperation agreement between the university and the institute to develop scientific research for the sake of community service scientifically and practically and providing specialists, technicians and experts in various fields. This institute is the authoritative source for measure units of physical quantities as it presents many activities of metrology science, in addition to the special units of the institute.
The Rector said that the aim of the cooperation is to expand cooperation base and enrich scientific research with new disciplines to prepare suitable cadres for work in measurement, Standardization and testing fields. It was agreed on establishing training programs in the field of measurement and Standardization to refine scientific and research skills of graduates to increase competitiveness in the labor market and expand the circle of joint supervision of graduate students at the two institutions.
The Rector to assured that the agreement includes many items, including launching joint research projects between the university and the institute to promote cooperation among various disciplines in the field of research through an integrated research plan and adding some parts of the scientific courses to study programs at the bachelor's and graduate phases to raise the level of culture and refine their skills in scientific measurement and Standardization to meet the requirements of labor market.
