Exclusively, Beni-Suef University Provides Distinguished Research Project on Using Egyptian Raw Materials Instead of Imported Ones in Field of Water Treatment

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, announced that the Science and Technological Development Fund of the Ministry of Higher Education selected the research project presented by Dr. Fathy Mohamed Mohamed, Faculty of Earth Science, as the best research project in this field at the level Egyptian universities.
The university president explained that the project aims to replace imported calcite raw material used in the final treatment of water, which cost more than 35 thousand Egyptian pounds with Egyptian raw materials with the same specifications, but not more than 1000 pounds, in order to improve the quality of produced water on the first hand and reduce the price of production Cubic meters of treated water on the other hand, in addition to saving country's hard currency and providing job opportunities for the Egyptian youth.
The university president said that the project comes within the framework of the initiative of a professor for each factory sponsored by Science and Development Fund, that aims to find solutions to problems facing factories and companies through university professors, scientists and specialized researchers.
