President of Beni Suef University signs cooperation agreement with Nuclear and Radiological Control Authority

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, signed a cooperation agreement between the university and the Nuclear and Radiation Control Authority. The agreement aims to activate the partnership between the university and the institutions working in the field of science and energy to serve the Egyptian society in the various fields of energy.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the agreement works to support cooperation in the fields of developing new programs that are concerned with skill and scientific training of common interest to serve the labor market as it is the locomotive of development for all development projects.

The university president added that the importance of this agreement comes within the framework of community awareness of peaceful uses of nuclear energy within the framework of state's strategy for the optimal use of energy.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Sami Shaaban, Chairman of the Nuclear and Radiation Control Authority, Prof. Dr. Hanan Soliman, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Higab, Dean of the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research and the General Coordinator of Special Programs and Divisions at the University, and Dr. Fayez Shahin, Professor of Radiation Physics.
