In celebration of Orphan Day... Beni Suef University organizes a number of visits to orphan care institutions in the governorate

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Beni Suef University organized under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and in cooperation with the Faculty of for Special Needs Science , under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the College, and in the presence of Dr. Mona Kamal, the Dean of the College, a number of faculty members, supporting staff, and workers, a number of visits to orphan care homes and institutions in Beni Suef Governorate, in celebration of Orphan Day, which falls on the first of April every year.
Dr. Mansour Hassan confirmed that Beni Suef University is keen every year to celebrate Orphan Day, based on the university’s societal role in serving the surrounding community and communicating with its various groups, but this year’s celebration was different by going directly to the orphanages, seeing them, and bringing joy and happiness to them by offering in-kind and material gifts.
Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi added that the university’s celebration of Orphan Day witnessed a visit to the School of Intellectual Education and our children’s home in East Nile, where in-kind and material gifts were distributed to orphans with motor and hearing disabilities. The orphan care home and the Women’s Health Foundation for caring for orphan girls were also visited and gifts were distributed for orphan boys and girls.
