President of Beni Suef University receives the Al-Azhar Alsharif delegation

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received today the delegation of the Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, commissioned by His Eminence the Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, to donate to the university’s central library copies of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Magazine, numbering (106) volumes, the catalog of manuscripts of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Library (28) volumes, and the Al-Azhar Curriculum Index, numbering (8) volumes. The delegation included Dr. Muhammad Wajih, General  Director of the Al-Azhar Region in Beni Suef, Dr. Yahya Mujahid, Director of the Examinations Department in the Central Administration, Dr. Raafat Idris, Director of the Primary and Preparatory Education Department in the Central Administration, and Mrs/ Hala Sayyed, the official of the electronic portal in the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif
Dr. Mansour Hassan expressed his deep appreciation for the role of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif throughout the ages, whose impact extended to various countries of the world, stressing the keenness of the university administration to cooperate with the Sheikh of Al-Azhar in developing the religious motivation of students and emulating the moderate methodology of Islam away from forms of fanaticism, in addition to the presence of a research reference inside the university's central library, so that researchers can draw from it to shed light on the role of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its mission  which aimed to spread Arab and Islamic culture, and introducing its heritage over more than a thousand years
