Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of the University, Beni Suef National University organized a field visit for  students of the clinical psychology program  to the Mental Health Hospital in Beni Suef, under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Dawoud, Academic Deputy, Dr. Suhair Abdel Basset, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Sector, and Dr. Qayati Ashour, the academic coordinator of the program
Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the university’s keenness and interest in the practical and field aspect of students and linking the academic curricula that students receive with the practical aspect Which clearly contributes in training students practically to keep pace with the labor market through developing skills, gaining field experiences, and seeing what is happening on the ground so that there is no gap between the two sides, as well as enabling the department’s students to master the applications of the scientific method in the field of social psychology and understand the philosophy of Its cognitive dimensions, in order to achieve understanding and interpretation of human behavior through guided scientific visits
for his part, Dr. Qayati Ashour explained that the visit included getting to know the hospital’s various departments, the tasks of the hospital’s psychologists, and the psychological evaluation they do for patients using psychological tests, and conducting case studies and treatment sessions for them.
