President of Beni Suef University receives the external review committee to approve three programs at the Faculty of Science

Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received two teams from the external review committee from the National Authority for Educational Quality Assurance and Accreditation to evaluate and accredit three programs at the Faculty of Science in the period from April 28 - 30, 2024. The first team from the review committee included Dr. Ahmed Mohamed. Kamal as president, and Dr. Maher Amer Ali, Dr. Ragab Riad Amin, and Dr. Walaa Ahmed Mustafa as members, to evaluate the programs (Biochemistry/Chemistry) and (Zoology/Chemistry), while the second team included Dr. Hind Al-Sayed Muhammad as president, and membership of Dr. Nashwa Mukhtar Hassan, and Dr. Mona Abdel Galil, to evaluate the chemistry program individually. This was in the presence of Dr. Hamada Muhammad, Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Hebat Allah Atef Al-Shimi, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center, Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Director of University Performance Development Center, and Dr. Wael Hozain, Dr. Walaa Hozain, Dr. Salah Mohamed Moawad, vice deans of the college, Dr. Sherif Hassan Mohamed, coordinator of the visit, and Mr. Mohamed Salim, Secretary-General of the University.
Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that obtaining accreditation for the university’s faculties and various study programs is one of the most important ways to achieve the university’s mission and goals in order to enhance its position in international classifications and attract more international students. Pointing out that the university’s strategic plan aims to achieve excellence in educational programs and services and implement innovative research in order to contribute effectively to providing distinguished community services that participate in confronting national challenges, building a national economy based on knowledge, and achieving the sustainable development goals of Egypt’s 2030 vision.
It is worth noting that the Authority’s teams will examine all documents, files, and material and human capabilities, and hold separate meetings with faculty members, students, and the administrative apparatus, in addition to meetings with civil society to measure the relationship of these colleges with society in providing their services, and their contribution to developing courses and graduate specifications.
