President of Beni Suef University receives the Executive Director of Fulbright and the Commission team

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received today Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission - Egypt, This is within the framework of cooperation between the two sides, and organizing an introductory day on the issue of empowerment, integration and accessibility at the university through the Fulbright Commission initiative to support the field and studies of people with special needs. This came in the presence of Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the College of Sciences for People with Special Needs, Dr. Sherine Mohanni, Dean of the College of Physical Therapy, Dr. Mohamed Naji, Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Iman Qandil, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and External Relations, and Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Director of the University Performance Development Center, Mr/Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of Beni Suef University, Mr/ Walid Al-Sayed Dowidar, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Mr/ Aser Hani, Mrs/ Mai Ayyad, Mrs/ Noha Salah, and Mrs/Sarah Jalal, members of the Fulbright Commission team, and coordinators of its various programs
Dr. Mansour Hassan praised the fruitful cooperation between the university and the Fulbright Commission - Egypt and the provision of various grants to researchers in various fields of scientific research, based on the interest of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in integrating people with special needs into society
As a reliable productive force and capacity in the new republic, the university administration has paid great attention to this file by supporting the College of Science for People with Special Needs, the Unit for People with Disabilities, affiliated centers, and all the departments  which concerned with this file in the various colleges such as the College of Medicine, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Physical Education, the Institute for the Elderly, the Institute of Childhood, Clinical Psychology, and the College of Social Work, by working to provide all facilities to academics, researchers, professionals, and students to carry this lofty message He added that the university is working to provide all facilities for people with special needs from the university through the College of Science for People with Special Needs, the Unit for People with Disabilities, and sign language translation through the digital library to serve the university’s members. Rather, the university’s role extends to serving and educating the families of people with Disabilities in the centers and villages, in addition to the university is working to establish specialized centers to serve children with disabilities through cooperation and coordination between the faculties of medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, nursing, special needs sciences, and physical education Dr. Maggie Nassif thanked and appreciated the University President for his good reception, support, and interest in the file of people with special needs, and that Beni Suef University has leadership in this field by establishing the first specialized college for people with special needs.
It is noteworthy that today's activities included the Fulbright Commission delegation organizing an introductory symposium on opportunities for researchers and academics in the fields stemming from empowerment, inclusion, and accessibility issues to obtain academic degrees in this vital field, master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral in the United States of America, and grants fully funded by the commission
