President of Beni-Suef University Welcomes CEO of “Titan” Group and Commends the Company’s Role in Supporting University Hospitals with Advanced Medical Equipment

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, received today Eng. Amr Reda, CEO of Titan Group. The visit came within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the university and Titan Egypt to support the healthcare system and improve the quality of medical services provided at the University Hospital, which serves a large segment of Beni-Suef residents and neighboring governorates. The meeting was attended by Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, Eng. Hossam Taha, Director of Beni-Suef Cement Plant, and Mr. Tony Osman, Advisor to the Company’s Chairman for External Relations.

Earlier this morning, Titan Group delivered advanced medical devices to the University Hospital, including a unit designated for the Critical Care Department, enhancing the hospital’s capacity to provide better services for patients. The handover ceremony was attended by Dr. Hany Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Director of the University Hospital, Prof. Alaa Abdel-Halim, former University President, and Dr. Sameh El-Maraghy, former Vice President of the University.

Dr. Tarek Ali stressed the university’s strong commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided in its hospitals, based on its firm belief that healthcare is a fundamental pillar in supporting the community and improving quality of life. He praised the vital role played by civil society organizations, particularly Titan Group, in providing advanced medical devices and equipment that contribute to higher efficiency and better treatment services. He pointed out that the constructive partnership between the university and Titan Group stands as a distinguished model of integration for the public good, encouraging continued efforts to create a more advanced healthcare environment to serve the people of Beni-Suef.

For his part, Eng. Amr Reda emphasized that “this initiative reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, especially in the healthcare sector, which directly affects the lives of all citizens.” He confirmed that Titan will continue supporting community projects and initiatives that serve the people of Beni-Suef across various sectors—foremost among them healthcare—believing in the importance of effective partnerships between civil society, the private sector, and government institutions to achieve sustainable development.
