Social and Developmental Service Students from Beni Suef University participate in the "100 Sports Days" initiative.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, students from the Faculty of Developmental Social Work, in cooperation with the “Students for Egypt” initiative, participated in the activities of the “100 Sports Days” initiative, which comes as part of the “New Beginning” initiative. The event was supervised by Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Hendawy Abdel Lahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Fadl Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Hossam El-Hawary, University Student Activities Coordinator; Dr. Ahmed Farouk, General Coordinator of the Students for Egypt group at the university; and Captain Mohamed Farouk, General Director of Youth Welfare at the University. The event was attended by a number of faculty members and students from the college.
The University President pointed out that the “100 Sports Days” initiative reflects the university leadership’s deep belief in the importance of sports in promoting students’ physical and psychological health. He confirmed that this initiative contributes to building an aware and capable generation, ready to take on responsibility, by encouraging young people to engage in sports activities, which enhances their vitality and energy.
He also explained that this event comes within the framework of the university’s vision to achieve a balance between education and sports activities, and to highlight the pivotal role of youth in realizing Egypt’s future vision. Moreover, the University President praised the great efforts made by the “Students for Egypt” group, in cooperation with the Youth Welfare Department of the college, in organizing this event, commending the fruitful collaboration that supports the achievement of the initiative’s goals and enhances the culture of sports within the university community.
For his part, Dr. Hendawy Abdel Lahi noted that each sports day represents a new step toward a better future, serving as a foundational building block in creating a strong society that understands the importance of health, sports, and teamwork. He stressed that the “New Beginning” initiative is not merely a passing event, but a true launch toward a lifestyle that strengthens young people’s ability to innovate and excel.
He added that this initiative aims to nurture an aware generation that understands the value of physical activity and its positive impact on both mind and body. He highlighted that promoting a sports culture among youth contributes to building a well-rounded personality capable of confronting future challenges. Through such initiatives, we all strive to spread sports awareness and instill the values of cooperation and teamwork among students, which benefits society as a whole.
