Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and as part of the university’s commitment to supporting the educational process and linking theoretical study with practical application, the university, in cooperation with the Popular Defense and Military Forces Command, the Military Education Department, and the university’s faculties, organized a field visit to El Nasr Intermediate Chemicals Company. The visit was supervised by Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education Affairs, and Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of the Military Education Department, with the participation of the Faculties of Science, Agriculture, and Educational Technology.

The University President explained that the visit aimed to provide students with a comprehensive and hands-on educational experience, with its primary objective being to enhance national industrial awareness and connect theoretical aspects of their studies with real-world application in major production institutions. He noted that the visit began with an important introductory session that included a detailed documentary film highlighting the establishment of El Nasr Intermediate Chemicals Company since its founding in 1972, its stages of development and achievements, and the implementation of modern operational and production mechanisms. He added that the selection of this company was intended to equip students with essential knowledge about the operations of major industrial entities specializing in the production of vital chemical materials such as fertilizers, industrial and medical gases, and pesticides. He emphasized that the company’s use of the latest global technologies to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency, along with its strict adherence to environmental regulations and effective efforts to reduce all forms of pollution, represents a practical model of sustainable industrial development for university students.

Dr. Tarek Ali further stated that during the on-site inspection tour, students were able to closely examine the various stages of production in detail and gain direct insight into the advanced technologies used in chemical manufacturing processes. He stressed that exposing students to successful models that translate national efforts into tangible industrial achievements is a vital factor in supporting the national economy and enhancing the regional and international standing of Egyptian industry, while also strengthening students’ sense of responsibility toward the development process.

At the conclusion of the visit, university students expressed their great pride in what they observed within the company in terms of high levels of discipline, professional efficiency, and strong national spirit demonstrated by its workforce. They affirmed that this field experience proved to them that Egyptian industry is witnessing tangible and serious development, and they expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to link their theoretical studies with industrial reality, which enhanced their vision for their future careers and raised their awareness of the importance of the industrial sector as a driving force for economic progress.
