Faculty of Education at Beni Suef University Participates in the Presidential Initiative to Prepare 1,000 Teachers

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of the university’s leading national role and its firm belief that real investment begins with building conscious educational leaders, the Faculty of Education participated in the presidential initiative to prepare 1,000 teachers to become school principals. This participation reflects the faculty’s commitment to supporting state plans and was represented by Prof. Ahmed Fikry Behnasawy, Professor of Educational Psychology and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development. The participation took place under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Osama Mahmoud Qorani, Dean of the Faculty of Education. This step underscores the Faculty of Education’s role as an active and genuine partner in the process of educational reform and in building a second line of leaders capable of driving development within schools.

The University President explained that this effective participation by the Faculty of Education reflects a clear vision and a firm commitment to the state’s national objectives. He emphasized that the faculty’s role goes beyond the academic dimension to become an essential partner in shaping educational and pedagogical decision-making at the national level. Dr. Tarek Ali added that the faculty’s presence at the heart of this presidential initiative sends a strong message affirming its pivotal role as a true supporter of comprehensive educational reform, and as an institution dedicated to building the human capital capable of leading the future, by preparing a second generation of qualified and aware school leaders to drive development within Egyptian schools.
