Faculty of Earth Sciences at Beni Suef University Organizes a Visit to Al-Khair wa Al-Baraka Home for the Elderly

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Earth Sciences organized a field visit to Al-Khair wa Al-Baraka Home for the Elderly. The visit was held under the supervision of Prof. Essam Abdel Rahman, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Fathi Mohamed Abu El-Saoud, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, as part of the Faculty’s community role, with distinguished organization by the Faculty’s Youth Welfare Department.

Dr. Tarek Ali affirmed that the role and mission of the university are not limited to education and scientific research alone, but also extend to serving the community and caring for the most vulnerable groups. He noted that this visit reflects the university’s commitment to its humanitarian role and to promoting the values of compassion and social solidarity among its students.

Prof. Essam Abdel Rahman emphasized that the visit comes within the Faculty’s plan to enhance students’ community awareness and foster a sense of social responsibility, noting that the Faculty is keen to organize such activities on a regular basis.

The visit was warmly welcomed by the residents of the home and its staff, who expressed their happiness with this kind gesture and their hope for the continuation of similar initiatives that reflect the spirit of affection and belonging.
