Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Applied Arts organized a scientific seminar entitled “Preparing the test item,” this came under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Diaa El-Din Mustafa, Dean of the College, and Dr. Samah Ali, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College, in the presence of Dr. Fatima Ahmed, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, and a number of faculty members and heads of departments. Dr. Amjad Bahij, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the University, lectured at the seminar
Dr. Tariq Ali explained that organizing this seminar comes within the framework of the university’s interest in applying quality standards in measurement and evaluation, and raising the efficiency of faculty members in preparing tests according to sound scientific principles, which contributes to achieving fairness and transparency in evaluating students, and supports the targeted learning outcomes, stressing the importance of continuing to organize such seminars and training workshops
For its active role in supporting academic development and achieving the university's vision of enhancing the quality of education and assessment

For his part, Dr. Hamada Mohammed pointed to the importance of developing faculty members' skills in preparing test items, in line with modern assessment systems, and contributing to improving the quality of education and linking assessment to the different levels of students' thinking
