A delegation from Beni Suef University in a field visit to the "Arabian International Optics Company"

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of the university's commitment to supporting the educational process To bridge the gap between theory and practice, the university, in cooperation with the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and the Military Education Department, organized a field visit to the Arab International Company for Optics, which operates in the field of advanced electro-optical and civil optical industries, and manufactures night and day vision systems.

The visit was supervised by Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Educational Affairs,

and attended by Major General Ramzi Ragai, Deputy Director of the Arab International Company for Optics
Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of Military Education, along with faculty members from various colleges, including the Colleges of Technology and Education, and the College of Applied Health Sciences Technology, participated in the visit

The university president explained that the visit aimed to provide students with a comprehensive and hands-on learning experience. Its primary goal was to cultivate national industrial awareness and connect the theoretical aspects of their studies with practical application in major production facilities. The visit also aimed to equip students with the necessary knowledge about the operations of these companies, which contribute to localizing industry and meeting the needs of both the local and global markets

The university president emphasized that exposing students to successful models that embody the transformation of national efforts into tangible industrial achievements is a vital element that contributes to supporting the national economy and enhancing the regional and international standing of Egyptian industry, thus fostering a sense of responsibility towards the development process

He added that the students' exposure to the company's use of the latest global technologies to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency provides them with a practical model of the concept of sustainable industrial development

At the conclusion of the visit, the university students expressed their immense pride and admiration for the high level of discipline, professional competence, and strong sense of patriotism they witnessed among the company's employees. They affirmed that this field experience demonstrated the tangible and significant development underway in Egyptian industry. The students also expressed their deep appreciation for the opportunity to connect their theoretical studies with practical industrial applications, which broadened their professional outlook and heightened their awareness of the vital role of the industrial sector as a driver of economic progress
