President of Beni Suef University: Medical examination for 600 new students

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today, Monday, the continuation of the medical examination for new students who are candidates for admission to university’s faculties for the new academic year and for the second day in a row, after a timetable was set for all university colleges amid precautionary measures to prevent Corona virus.

This was during the report presented by Dr. Manal Ahmed Gaber, Director of the Medical Administration at the University, which included doing medical examination on 600 students so far from the Faculties of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering and Physiotherapy, which will continue until next Thursday in the presence of a number of doctors and nurses at the auditoriums of the College of Law, where the temperature of students is measured before entering the hall allocated to medical examination and wearing masks in order to ensure their safety. Students are required to show proof of identity with the medical examination form.

The university president explained that the days of medical examination have been increased for several days as a precaution to prevent overcrowding and in order to ensure the safety of students, directing the necessity of providing all facilities and providing comfort and safety means for students and providing waiting places for them, taking into account social distancing among them to prevent crowding. The medical examination is done on students in specialties of Ophthalmia, Internal Medicine and Dentition. Students with chronic diseases are referred to the medical committee to register their names, health cards are made for them, and they are transferred to the university hospital to make a medical report for the case and receiving the necessary treatment from the medical administration.
